Flanged hydraulic cylinder: The hydraulic cylinder is usually composed of the main parts such as the back end cover, cylinder barrel, special plug rod, special plug assembly, front end cover, etc.; in order to prevent the oil from leaking to the hydraulic cylinder or from the high pressure cavity to the main part. The low-pressure cavity leaks special leakage. Sealing devices are set up between the cylinder tube and the end cover, the piston and the piston rod, the piston and the cylinder, and the piston rod and the front end cover. Equipped with a dustproof device; in order to prevent the piston from hitting the cylinder head when it quickly retracts to the end of the stroke, a buffer device is also provided at the end of the hydraulic cylinder; sometimes an exhaust device is also required. Classification of flange-mounted installation The flange-mounted hydraulic cylinder uses a flange to fix the hydraulic cylinder on the machine. Flange type connection has simple structure, convenient processing and reliable connection. However, the end of the cylinder barrel is required to have enough wall thickness to install bolts or screw in screws. It is a commonly used connection form.
It can be divided into the following three forms.
a Head outer flange type. The flange cover is arranged on the cylinder cover on the side of the piston rod, and its outer side is tightly attached to the mounting surface of the external component, and the figure is tightened with screws. This type of installation is due to the action of the special reaction force when the hydraulic cylinder is working, and the installation bolt bears the greater tensile effect of the hydraulic pressure, so the diameter of the installation bolt is larger, and the strength calculation is required.
b Head internal flange type. The flange cover is arranged on the cylinder head on the side of the piston rod, and the inner surface of the flange cover is tightly attached to the mounting surface of the external component. This type of installation is due to the fact that the installation bolts are not stressed when the hydraulic cylinder is working, and are mainly supported by the installation support surface, so the flange type has a small diameter and a compact structure. This type of installation is the most widely used in fixed installation.
c Tail outer flange type. The flange is set at the bottom of the cylinder, and the outer side of the flange is tightly attached to the mounting surface of the external component and fastened with bolts. The connecting screw of the hydraulic cylinder of this type of installation is less tensile, but has a greater impact on the longitudinal bending strength of the piston rod.
For flange-connected hydraulic cylinders, the fastening bolts can be divided into two situations, namely, bearing the relay force and only acting as a connection. If the bolt is subjected to joint stress, fatigue fracture will occur under the influence of the applied force, which is very dangerous. Therefore, it is necessary to use dedicated force as much as possible to allow the flange connection plate to bear during installation to avoid direct force on the bolts.
